Round Barn
After leaving Wagontire, we set out to head further east. We stopped at the Pete French round barn, where he stabled many of his horses. It is a stone / clay mortar building, and is still in surprisingly good condition for its age. The boys had a great time running lap races around the outer / inner loop. The construction of the building is very advanced for it's time, and it is quite impressive just to be inside.

....And big as a barn inside! You cannot see much detail in these photos, but I was amazed at how well the construction has stood the test of time. There have been a few vandals with pocket knives over the years, but some people must leave their mark :-)
