Deck Hardware
Tamer and Olivier planning the placement of all of our deck hardware. When we purchased the boat, they had NO deck hardware installed. It was hard for Tamer to visualize where to put everything because the masts and rigging were not back up. Everything ended up working perfectly in the end.
This handrail was placed just aft of the Focsul hatch; which is just forward of the Cargo hold skylight.
It went completely against all of our instincts to drill holes in the deck.... Tamer cringed while drilling each one :-)
The port cargo hold winch, now installed over the 6 leaking holes...
Tamer and Blayde finishing installation of the starboard salon cabin top winch.
Look very, very carefully and you will see all the new winches, handrails and cleats :-)
We now have 2 Lewmar 65 winches on board that we purchased a few years ago for about an 1/10th of the new cost ... The other one is in the lower right hand corner of the picture above this one. Possibly a wee bit of overkill, but that is always better than under kill!
