Cutting the wrecked metal from the chain locker is the first step in the hull refit. After cutting away the diseased metal, we will fit new plates and paint. It looks like a total of about 6 square feet of plating will be replaced overall.

Blaydes solution was to a pulley lift, which they
rigged and used to great advantage.

Hey! it worked! In all they moved about 1/2 ton of rope and gear out of the foc'sl so that the interior could be removed to gain access to the plating.

Gives me the chilss thinking about it, the good kind. I can't wait to get there, hopefully only the fun stuff will be left.
