Edison Ford Estates
The day after we went to the beach with Sherron, (a long time ago), we went to the Edison Ford Museum and Estates in Fort Myers. Here are the boys posing underneath the huge banyan tree with a statue of Edison.
The first area of Edison's laboratory held this potion bottles, his desk area, a sleeping cot and small living area.
This was just one side of the larger area of the Lab building. The tour guide said that a lot of what remains today is the way it was left many, many years ago.
The Estate side of the whole visit was my favorite part of the tour. Here is their old dock, which happens lie on the the Caloosahatchee River, and we will pass by here when we leave in December.
The Moonlight Garden.. Breathtaking by day, I can only begin to imagine what it is like in the moonlight.
