Help... The cargo hold is full!
After our break in Daytona Beach at the end of February, Tamer and our friend Raoul drove up to Georgia to retrieve the TON (literally) of stuff that we had shipped from Alaska back in August. We rented a storage unit in the closest town to us about 12 miles away in Labelle, to store most of it until we are ready to launch. We also had some large bulky items in the boat that we wanted to keep there during this construction phase. A lot of our new friends in the boat yard were surprised to find that the tools that Tamer had promised were "In Georgia", finally materialized.
Our menagerie of sails weigh about 600 pounds all together, so we lifted them off one at a time, with the help of the boys. Here is Blayde raising them out of the cargo hold.....
Valin was below, near the U-Haul trailer to tag line them into the back of it with Raoul's help.
Valin and Uncle Raoul, hangin' out waiting for the next load :-)
Raoul, releasing the tag line to be hauled up for another load.
