Here is our dear friend Dave, who was a true blessing when it came to sanding the bottom of the boat in preparation for bottom paint. We were all so caught up in our own last minute projects, that his help could not have come at a better time. I think everyone should read a good Tristan Jones book to pass the monotony of sanding :-) Not pictured here was the numerous nights that I was painting really late, and Dave would play me his own writings on the guitar. Thanks my friend, for making the hours go by faster!

YAAHHHH!! The batteries being loaded aboard, now we will have power storage!!

Tamer and Raoul using the laser level and blue tape to mark the water line. It separates the bottom paint and topsides with the boot stripe.

Here she is ready for the final coats of paint, all taped up!

Here is Shep tightening up the bobstay (the chain that holds the bow sprit down against the force of the headstays), and me doing some type of painting.

Tamer's Dad watches on while Blayde does the final adjustments to the rigging.
