Fort Jefferson (In The Dry Tortugas) Easter Sunday
All the boys walking ahead in search of the pirates loot....
Captain Moody a dreaded pirate who was running from the armed soldiers in the Fort, had left us clues/riddles to where he hid the BIG treasure. Because it happened to be Easter Sunday, the clues were accompanied by plastic eggs full of the best booty ever ~ Chocolate! We had a wonderful 2 hour exciting egg hunt, the best yet!

These boats were abandoned by boat loads of Cubans immigrants. Once their foot touches the dry land of the Tortugas, they are allowed to immigrate to the United States. The Dry Tortugas happen to be the closest US soil to Cuba.
Who ever knew that a school history lesson could be sooooooo fun, and that you could be sooooooo very under dressed :-)
